The Roaches to Hen Cloud

The iconic view along the jagged crags of the Roaches towards Hen Cloud in the Staffordshire Peak District. Just before the sun set a thick bank of fog rolled over the horizon, picking up the light from the setting sun and creating a beautiful misty haze in the valley. Whilst beautiful, the fog didn’t half make the drive home difficult!

About The Roaches:

The Roaches are one of the Peak Districts best known and most popular locations. Situated high above Leek and the Tittesworth Reservoir the Roaches, along with Ramshaw Rocks and Hen Cloud, form a dramatic gritstone escarpment with spectacular views and unique rock formations.
