Stormy Carhead Rocks
The famous Knuckle Stone at Carhead Rocks, looking towards some dramatic golden light bursting from under the the dark stormy rain clouds and across the distant hillsides. It’s not often you get conditions like this!
Carhead Rocks are one of the lesser known edges in the Peak District National Park. This small gritstone edge is situated just below the mighty Stanage Edge, with great views overlooking the Hope Valley.
