Beautiful golden hour light illuminates the gritstone cliffs and blossoming bell heather on Millstone Edge, a now disused quarry in the Derbyshire Peak District.

About Millstone Edge:

Millstone Edge quarry was one of the largest gritstone quarries supplying the famous Peak District millstones. Eventually all work ended after the last stones were sold to a Swedish paper mill around 1939. The remaining stones lie abandoned littering the surrounding area.
