Lathkill Dale Sunset
One of the many Hawthorn trees at sunset at Lathkill Dale near Monyash in the Derbyshire Peak District. During spring and summer the Derbyshire Dales really come into their own, the valley is covered in hundreds of wildflowers including Jacob’s Ladder, the county flower of Derbyshire, attracting a huge variety of rare moths and butterflies.
