  • Some fantastic wintry conditions at the Salt Cellar on Derwent Edge in the Peak District National Park. I've visited this location many times over the years, never quite getting the right conditions. On this occasion hoar frost, snow, low cloud and some sublime light combined for a spectacular Winter wonderland.

  • Salt Cellar in Winter. Some fantastic wintry conditions at the Salt Cellar on Derwent Edge in the Peak District National Park. I've visited this location many times over the years, never quite getting the right conditions. On this occasion hoar frost, snow, low cloud and some sublime light combined for a spectacular Winter wonderland. On this afternoon I was blessed with some stunning conditions, particularly when this well defined beam of light broke through the clouds illuminating the snowy hills in the distance.

  • Some fantastic wintry conditions at the Wheel stones on Derwent Edge in the Peak District National Park. The Wheel Stones (otherwise known as the Coach and Horses) sit high up behind Derwent Edge overlooking the busy A57 Snake Pass. These strange gritstone formations have been shaped by the elements battering the Derwent Moors over many years. I've visited this location many times over the years, never quite getting the right conditions. On this occasion hoar frost, snow, low cloud and some sublime light combined for a spectacular Winter wonderland.

  • A young wild rabbit. Seahouses, Northumberland, UK. About Rabbits Like the Hare, Rabbits are not native to Britain, they were in fact introduced from south west Europe and north west Africa. Due to the agricultural damage they can cause, and the rate at which they spread, they are often considered pests.
