Meestraat Bridge – About Brugge:

Brugge is the capital of West Flanders, located in the Flemish Region of Belgium. The historic city centre is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Despite being the largest city in West Flanders, the city’s total population is just approximately 120,000 of whom around 20,000 live in the city centre. Due to its extensive canal system, Brugge is often referred to as The Venice of the North. Brugge was once one of the world’s most important commercial cities, due to its location and extensive port.
