About the Peak District

The Peak District National Park boasts some of the finest views the UK has to offer. From rolling hills to jagged outcrops, it has it all. The Peak District covers an area of 555 sq miles and was the first of Britain’s 15 national parks, founded in 1951. Surrounded by several major cities, it’s one of the most popular and accessible national parks in the world, and for good reason.

Landscape Photography Workshop - The Great Ridge, Peak District

 What can I expect?

Stunning views at every turn. From the limestone dales of the White Peak to the wild gritstone moorlands and edges of the Dark Peak, my landscape photography workshops will teach you to compose stunning landscape photographs.

During the day you will learn the essential skills needed to produce beautiful landscape photography. From composition and camera settings to working with the light and the use of filters, the day is tailored to your needs. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced photographer, I will show you tips and techniques that will enhance your photography.

“Just a note to tell you how much I enjoyed your workshop. Your knowledge of the area is excellent, even though I have lived in the Peak District all my life, you showed me places I’ve never seen and shared interesting information about it too. I am fairly knowledgeable about photography, but you had hints and tips to share which made it more enjoyable and easy. You also helped me to compose the shot better. Just sorry I had to leave before sunset as it was a lovely one!”
